The invasion and multiplication of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites that are not normally present within the body. An infection may cause no symptoms and be subclinical, or it may cause symptoms and be clinically apparent.
Infections are taken for granted sometimes but i found out that some of them can make one sick and be hospitalized at a certain point one of them can stay with one for some time without knowing what kind of an infection.
What’s the view on infections in rural areas
Infections are not taken serious in rural areas but many people have them though they don’t realize it because they are not informed or given any information on infections, so it’s really hard to find someone talking about them or visiting a doctor because of infections.
What’s the view on infections in urban areas
In urban areas things are somehow different though still has a long way to make everyone understand that infections are different and they can be treated within sometime when they are diagnosed.
What’s the view on infections in young people
Many young people have no clue when it reaches on infections but some of them are informed depending on their families or parents, how close they are with families or their parents and how they discuss different issues on their health.
Many young people think that infections are highly in girls what is not right because this doesn’t check whether you are male or female though it sometimes depend on ones immunity to stay with an infection for some time and that won’t give assurance that it won’t hit you one day because as it increases in your body it reduces your immunity.
The biggest challenge here is that many parents who even have some info on infections, they don’t know their differences coz they will confuse UTIs and other infections like STIs and STDs in case you’re telling them that you have an infection and that’s the biggest challenge for young people to ta
Author’s Choice (what should be done)
I personally, i had no idea or any clue about Infections but slow by slow heard about them though i didn’t get it well up to when i got one but stayed with it for sometime because i didn’t know a lot about it but within some weeks i went to see a doctor and was found with an infection. I got medication and everything was cool, everyone is asking himself/herself “what should be done?” on my side some people are not informed and they really need info on this especially in rural areas and some parents need to understand what, which, why the infection is with their children and that will help young people to visit a doctor and find it easy to interact with them or their folks.
When you feel like you are sick or you are not feeling as usual please visit your nearby clinic for check up because it has never been easy for anyone to stay with something he/she doesn’t know. ‘prevention is better than cure‘
