This one Voice for many who are out there without anyway out of communication, but if you are reading this; make sure that you share it with everyone around you because I know I’m not the only Victim of Corona Virus.

Corona you came as a joke, I couldn’t believe that you will stay this long. But guess what ?

You have turned my life into a nightmare, my feelings have changed because of staying locked down. Well, you have taught me some words like : lockdown,Curfew,ICU,Sanitizer,Face/shield mask,quarantine,social distance,and many others.

Look at me now, I’m a student who has no hope to go back to school in this year. I have stayed in the foreign country for so long ,have changed into something else. Don’t forgetting about the headache about rent.

My neighbors have got time to stay with me, they can’t keep away but they are always in my head. Mr. Depression has taken over, his wife anxiety is in my control room, their children have formed at team “mental disorders” and has taken over my life. Can’t Imagine that I’m packed with all this.

Corona, why did you stay for so long? I had to go home but you came before and all transportation means were banned. What did you want me to do, when you know that I’m not in my country.

Why don’t you give me one day to go back home? My landlord is on my door knocking, asking for rent. So far I’m in 4 months, But where can I get money from?

I’ve tried to work for different people but payment will be a big problem. They will tell me that “don’t you see corona virus?” But you could ask yourself where’s corona related with my payment?

What did I wrong you Mr.Corona? I don’t know if you’re Mr. Or Mrs. Because you’ve confused many people not only me.

If I could meet you, at least we could talk about this. Look at me now I’m no longer allowed to meet my friends in a big crowd, I miss shouting on the top of the mountains, I’m no longer allowed to hug my friends. Seriously you made my life extremely hard.

I used to eat three times a day, but now I’m starving. It’s hard to get money and those with money won’t remember to share with us.

I wrote all this, after feeling like lonely and have no clue or way out of this, but I’d like to send to you a letter because if you’re out there worsening my life, that means I’m not alone in this.

To Mr.Corona

Corona or Covid-19,I don’t care what fits you. I’m a foreign student who has no one here in Uganda, hope if you knew that, you wouldn’t supposed to act the way you acting. Well, I wanted to let you know that whatever you’re doing, it’s not good to me but it’s a benefit to many who are benefiting into this. So this is my request : “why don’t you give me only two days and get back home?; because I’m suffering physically,psychologically and everything.” Yours The Worsens.

My letter to Government

I know it’s really hard to ask for this, but people are dying out there, where you can’t reach your eyes. My request is “why don’t you give me only few days and get back home?; because I have no one around here, and if I’m to stay; I know you won’t find me breathing one day.” The only thing is to get where I can find my family because here no one will care even if I’m sick or not; That is my request.

Moral

Many people are dying because of hunger not corona but others are satisfied and their bank accounts are filled with Public’s funds. What will you do, if you were part of this group which is suffering or if your children were in this group? I know you would fight to ensure that they are living well. Help those who are out of stock and landlords understand that you could be the one paying, so where will you get the money from in this situation?
